This important partnership includes our esteemed dentists combined with our dental hygienists, (RDH) who are experts in the field of oral hygiene; oral health education and oral health homecare maintenance.
Our CIED hygienists are all graduates of the University of Southern California’s Ostrow School of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene. As experts in oral healthcare, their focus is to assess oral health conditions; review the health history of the patient; perform oral cancer screenings; remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth, teach patients appropriate oral health strategies that provide good oral healthcare habits at home (tooth brushing and flossing); and counsel patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health.
Nisha Dudakia, Certified Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Born and raised in Southern California, Nisha’s passion for dentistry began at a very early age. “I was always fascinated by teeth” and “helping to make a difference for people” were words that resonated with Nisha up until adulthood that eventually led to her decision to work in the field of dentistry. Nisha’s cheerful, happy personality combined with her reassuring, expertise about oral health always makes for a pleasant experience in the dental chair. Nisha likes to keep active through athletics; traveling; networking and cooking for her family!
Lydia C., Certified Dental Hygienist (RDH)
A California native, Lydia followed in her family’s footsteps in becoming a fellow Trojan and acquired her BS degree in Dental Hygiene from the prestigious University of Southern California’s Ostrow School of Dentistry. Lydia’s thoroughness in the care she provides always earns her compliments from her patients. She has also fulfilled her artistic passion in becoming a newborn photographer and specializes in photographing newborns and babies up to one year old. Lydia loves snowboarding, surfing, and of course, chasing after her little ones, to help stay active and fit.
